Tigers forever

Tony went by himself to cards on Monday night as I wanted to watch the Tigers first game
of the season against the mighty Sea Eagles (boo boo) and mighty they were for the first half
and also for most of the second half except for the last 20 minutes when they ran out of puff
and the Tigers then took their chance and pounced scoring four tries in that time. They came out winners 26-22 and the Sea Eagles are still scratching their heads. I hope this is not a one off and they keep it up for the rest of the season. Tony's Rabbitoes did not do too well on Saturday night. Even "Russell" didn't stay 'til the end. Their game this Friday doesn't start until 8.35pm,way past Tony's bedtime. The NRL obviously are not thinking on the fans by starting at this time. Its all for TV.
Had a great day at Tebbutt this week. One of my duties is to take the gardening group which I am not that fussed about as I find it rather boring and don't know that much about plants. Boring because you can only ask them to do very medial tasks like watering and weeding. However this week as it was going to be St Patricks day the next day they were having a craft class and making shamrocks, and gold pots and stuff. So I decided I would attend this and help out instead. Although I did make the mistake of getting Robert to water the indoor plants only to find out that the water was all over the floor. In my spare time I go around and chat to some of the residents. Some of them as you can image get very depressed. Like Reg this week who said he hated it there and said if he could get out the gate he would walk home and that was a long way but he didn't care. He said they didn't treat him very well. When I asked why he said this. He answered that they came to his room around 10pm each night, woke him up and took him out to the lounge to watch TV movies with Humphrey Bogart until 4 am. I asked him did he like the movies and he said yes. I felt sorry for Erwin this week who was having a bad day. I could understand what it would be like to have your driver's licence taken away and not be able to get out and about. He doesn't have any interests and his sight isn't that good now to read. I said I would show him how to work the computer next week but when I asked Vicki about it she said they had showed him several times but he was not interested. Trivia went off well as usual. I even told them a few jokes which they put up with.

Competition between the rose bushes................
I got 2 rose bushes for Mothers Day last year both of them white. One from Kerry and one from David. One of them flourished straight away, the other was a bit slower (it had a few pest problems to start). Now they are both full of roses but I can't remember who gave me which one and I wanted to name them after that person. Do either of you recognise which one you gave?
